New Orleans Food

Some time ago, I read about a new restaurant a few miles up the road.  It was a newspaper article about a Katrina displaced family that opened an authentic New Orleans style restaurant.

The place I was working yesterday ordered their lunch there for the first time.  One had alligator.  I don't know what the other had.  They were talking about Po' boy sandwiches and shrimp and lots of things I don't eat.   But, as far as I know, it's the only authentic "cajun" or New Orleans style restaurant around for a long way.
